November 9, 2011No sooner did Bro. Jeff leave, then the Bennetts paid FBC a visit. They gave a report about their ministry in Baguio, Philippines. Pray for the Bennetts while they are on furlough in the states.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.
Bro. Jeff Sudo came for a short visit in September. While he was here he shared about his ministry in Baguio, Philippines where he is assisting Missionary Kevin Bennett. He also is involved in the ACE school, Bible studies, and visitation. Before he returned back to the Philippines, FBC commissioned Bro. Jeff and sent him out as our missionary. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

MIA end of the year carnival
November 9, 2011Missions In Action Club enjoyed games, sweets, and snacks on the last Wednesday before summer break. Bro. Bernard gave a short challenge before the kids swarmed through out the room to find something fun to do. There was the popular dart game, coin & ring toss, candy walk, cupcake decorating station, and more. Before the end of the night all the tickets they won playing the games were spent on some cool prizes. Thanks to Sis. Kiana, Sis. Patty, Sis. Roslynne, Sis. Susan, and Sis. Susana for working with the kids this year by telling missionary stories, helping with scripture memory, teaching songs, updating the kids on FBC’s missionaries, praying for them, and playing games.

MBBC Women’s Volleyball Team visits FBC

Coach Regina DeLozier and her team of 9 ladies from Maranatha Baptist Bible College shared special music with us and Matt George, husband of one of the players, preached. After our fellowship, the ladies gave a short testimony and answered questions about volleyball and MBBC. They are located in Watertown, Wisconsin.
