FBCS Thanks Bro. Besar Santos

The school shows their appreciation to Bro. Besar for speaking at their Chapel Services, providing delicious lunches for their Hot Lunch Ministry, and many other things.

Master Club Change of Command

We held a change of command for the Master Club during the evening service today. Bro. Besar Santos, outgoing Master Club Commander, gave the command of the club to Bro. Mark Ishmael. We would like to thank Bro. Besar for his leadership these past two years. We pray the Lord will continue to use and bless him at his next duty station. We’ll miss you Bro. Besar!

The purpose of Master Clubs is: To evangelize children, discipling them toward spiritual growth, teaching and training them to serve Jesus Christ, and providing multiple opportunities to do so through the local church. (from Master Clubs website)

Baptism

We all gathered at Ypao Beach on Sunday, October 19 to witness the baptism of John, Roy, and Ian Greenwood. Praise the Lord for their testimony and obedience to the Lord.

John had to be carried out of the water. I think the crabs were pinching his toes.

HBBI

We also have the Harvest Baptist Bible Institute students come and bless us with music during our Missions Conference. Through their strong, beautiful voices, God’s word and love is proclaimed.

Thompsons with our Kids

Every year during our Mission’s Conference Bro. Fred and Sis. Lee Thompson and their “crew” (their kids and their puppets) take our kids through an adventure for the week. The children learn about God through stories and puppets and play fun games. Thanks Thompsons!

Baby Arrivals and Blog Contest

 

Chris and Francine’s twins, Elijah and Ezaiah arrived on October 15 and on October 24, Ryan and Liz Guerrero’s daughter, Hannah Joy was born. Congratulations! We hope to have pictures soon.

Speaking of babies…let’s have another Blog Contest! As you all know, Ed and Marie Collado are expecting their 5th son, (yes, it’s a boy,) early next year. They need some help naming their new baby. All of their son’s names begin with a “J” and yes, they want another “J” name.

Here are their other son’s names starting with the eldest: Jonathan Edward, Jared William, Jason Paul, and Jeremy Luke.
