We celebrated Independence Day at this month’s back to back service at Sis. Frances’ family property in front of Matapang Beach. FBC is growing! There were babies everywhere.
And there were ”kids” of “all” ages.

It’s a boy, Liam Isaiah Thorpe was born on May 26, 2009. He weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 inches long. Congratulations Brandy and Rob.

Every year we look forward to our camp weekend at Sirena Beach. This year we had weaving and coconut candy making lessons from Bro. Rhay. There is never a year we do not have someone catching some kind of creature around the area…this year it was a huge coconut crab. Of course we had a lot of food…4 tables full…who can eat all that food anyway? FBC can!
The campsite has a telephone, electricity, showers and toilets, a pavillion with tables and sink, and a big refrigerator. FBC’s kind of camping.
Swimming is no longer allowed at Sirena. That did not stop these kids from getting wet!

Randy Chovan will be preaching for us on Friday night at the camp. You won’t want to miss that. We will have the BIG FEED afterwards. Hope to see you all there. Camp days/time: April 10 beginning at 4pm until 3 pm April 11.
It was Pastor’s birthday last Sunday. We tried to surprise him with a party but rumor has it he knew we were up to something…but I think we still surprised him a little.

We had a baby shower for Sis. Marivic Bailey during our back to back service this past Sunday.
It was a HOT, HOT day…perfect for a picnic at the beach. While some cooled off by going swimming and snorkeling, others stayed under the canopy and trees to fellowship.
Menu: Red/white/blue rice, barbecued/baked chicken, ribs, pork chops, steak, pasta/vegetable salads, pickles, pancit, lumpia, soup, daigo, salsa, fruits, cakes, cookies, avocado, calamai, brownies, and a lot more.
