The ladies did a wonderful job preparing the room for the banquet.
Our guest speaker was Sis. Garthea Henson. She spoke about how our outward appearance should show that we are a child of the King, Jesus Christ.
Sis. Georgia and Sis. Emmy presented a puppet show about “What Not to Wear”. It was hilarious but the message was clear: the way we dress should honor and glorify our Lord and not ourselves.
The designing team Alovedena consisting of Jessica, Eden, and Amey won the design an outfit game with feathers, crepe streamers, pipe cleaners, and other colorful stuff. Their creation had the very in colors of purple, orange, and red with glittery pipe cleaners on the head piece to keep the bugs away???
