November 10, 2008A BIG FEED follows every Missions Conference. Every year, we have a lechon.
We also have foods from all over the world. This year we had authentic Indian curry compliments of Bro. Harry Rasquinha. Everything was delicious…even Bro. Mike, Bro. Jeff, and Bro. Ed confirms that!
And here are loads of pictures taken by Amey and Marie.

Missionaries Rick and Joy Kelley
February 18, 2008The Kelley’s visited with us on Sunday during their survey trip to Guam. They are missionaries to the US Military overseas as well as good friends with Bro. Mac. They both were in the mission field together in Germany. The Kelley’s heard that Bro. Mac was on island and surprised him with a visit. Bro. Kelley shared his testimony, as well as preached to us during our evening service. God made it clear to them on this trip that this is where He wants them to be. Remember them in your prayers as they head back to the states to report to their supporting churches. They will be back on island in July.

Brother Wilbur McBride
February 17, 2008Family Baptist Church welcomes “Bro. Mac” to Guam, who came all the way from Jacksonville, Florida to minister to us while Pastor Jay and Sis. Linda are on furlough. Bro. Mac is the Assistant to the President and Military Field Administrator for Baptist Missions to Forgotten People (BMFP). Through Brother Mac’s messages, Wednesday night singing, Bible riddles, and wit, FBC has been greatly blessed during the time he has been with us.

Visiting Missionary
July 11, 2007We really enjoyed having Brother Douglas and his wife Helen Worley with us this past week. It was a blessing to be able to hear of their life’s journey for the Lord in England, Singapore, and now Dumaguete in the Philippines.
Not only did he teach us but also encouraged us to be grateful for the church that we have. He told us that we should thank the Lord everyday for such a special church (Family Baptist Church of Guam) and it’s true! Our family has definitely reaped many blessings from our church since we were first visitors about three years ago. We have enjoyed being members and working together for the glory of God. I asked Brother Worley later why he would say such special things about our church (having only observed us for a short period of time) and he said that he’s been to many churches over his lifetime and this is one church that he knows he and his wife would enjoy being a part of and fit right in. How encouraging! Brother Worley also got to know our Pastor through other members and told us that he heard that we have probably “the hardest pastor in Guam.” He continued to praise our pastor’s vision and encouraged us to keep striving towards getting a bigger building that can house our growing congregation.
Please continue to pray for this faithful family.
