Church Announcements and Upcoming Events

  • Couples Banquet-A great big thank you to those who attended the banquet and to the many dedicated church members who have contributed their time and talents to make this special event possible. This year’s banquet was held at the Hilton Gallery and those who attended were treated to a breath taking view of Tumon Bay.img_0286.jpg
  • We had a good time of fellowship, food, & games. Bro. Mac challenged us in John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (Come back to the site later to see more pictures.)
  • Master Club-The children have begun work on their sailboats for the upcoming regatta which is tentatively scheduled for the end of February or early March. If you would like to sponsor a child for this event please see Bro. Besar or Sis. Lahlah Santos.
  • Also, we are still praying for someone to train alongside Bro. Besar as Master Club head leader as he and his family prepare to transfer to another duty station later this year.
  • Mission’s Trip Bake Sale-Thank you to Sis. Roz, her helpers, and all those who donated goodies for last Sunday’s bake sale for the Mission’s Trip to Thailand in 2009. The next bake sale will be in a couple weeks.
  • FBCS-There will be no classes on Monday, February 18, 2008 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
  • Donations are still needed for the FBCS Merit Store. Please see Sis. Lahlah Santos for more details.
  • Registration for Summer School is on-going until March 14, 2008. Please see Bro. Jeff Sudo for early enrollment and more information.
  • Praise the Lord! The Hot Lunch Ministry that provides hot lunches to the students and staff each Friday has been filled. Thank you to everyone who signed-up. Your help is greatly appreciated.
  • Chapel Speakers-There are still a few openings for those interested in an opportunity to preach the Word of God every Friday during FBCS chapel time. Open dates are Mar. 14, Apr. 18, & May 2.
  • Men’s Prayer Meeting-There has been a lot of praises and encouragement from the men who attend this early morning gathering for prayer and fellowship every Saturday at 6:00 am. If you have a prayer request you would like the men to pray for contact Bro. Gene Artero or Bro. Josh Beltramo.
  • Housekeeping Ministry-A list of repairs needed for the church building(s) is still in need of volunteers. Please see any of our deacons if you can help.
