FBCS Awards Night

FBC School teachers, Bro. Jeff Sudo and Sis. Patty Carman, presented awards to their students for academic achievement, Christ like character, Most Paces completed, and Character traits. Several of the girls blessed us with a piano piece and both the high school and 1st grade group sang specials. Congratulations to all for a job well done!

Here are the awardees for the highest averages for each subject:

Math – Pablo Damian and Amey Fong
English – Cedric Damian and Amey Fong
Word Building – Pablo Damian, Amey Fong, Israel Imbuido, and Cassandra Santos
Science – Amey Fong
Social Studies – Cassandra Santos
Bible – Amey Fong
Electives – Israel Imbuido and Cassandra Santos

Highest Overall Average – Amey Fong

The award for the most paces completed was Pablo Damian. He completed 150 paces!

Cassandra Santos received the Christ-likeness award for being the most like Christ. This is the second year in a row that Casey received this award. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

For the First Graders, Kelly Lizama received the award for completing the most paces and Kaleb Artero was awarded for the highest average overall. They also received several character awards. Congratulations Kelly & Kaleb!

Awards were also given out to Sis. Patti Artero for helping out the school in different areas, Sis. Myrna Dejesa for “keeping the books”, and for Sis. Lahlah Santos and the “Friday Chefs”, who prepared delicious meals that the students looked forward to every Friday after chapel time. Thank you!

Announcements for the Week of April 15

1. Two different ministries are hosting summer camps on the island.
Shepherding Ministries is hosting a camp 6/18-22 and 6/25-29. Sign up
sheets are available in the foyer. Harvest is tentatively hosting a camp
the week of July 16th (Jr. High) and July 23 (Sr. High.)
2. Early registration is coming up for Family Baptist Church School. If you
plan on your children attending next school year, please see Pastor Jay
